Town Hall of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University announced new academic partnership

June 2010Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and Town Hall of Cleveland are proud to announce a new partnership. CWRU will be the new academic sponsor for Town Hall of Cleveland, who is celebrating 80 years of public forum lectures for audiences in Northern Ohio.
CWRU adds stability and stature to the Town Hall not-for-profit organization. Their support will enable Town Hall to continue its mission of educating and informing audiences on a wide range of diverse topics. This union fits perfectly with CWRU's commitment to groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art educational opportunities and life-long learning.
"Town Hall of Cleveland claims a proud history of presenting provocative, dynamic and influential speakers, and we are delighted to serve as its academic partner," stated Barbara R. Snyder, President of CWRU.
Town Hall of Cleveland is one of the oldest and most established public forums for educating citizens on diverse topics. Speakers in the past have included President George H. Bush, Ken Burns, Doris Kearns Goodwin, and Tim Russert to name a few.
CWRU officials also look forward to giving their students the opportunity to participate in the well-established Town Hall distance learning program which reaches more than 500 high school students per lecture.
