The Student Scholarship Fund
The Student Scholarship Fund provides an opportunity for high school
juniors and seniors from Northeast Ohio to attend Town Hall of Cleveland
lectures, enhancing their knowledge of the sciences, history, economics,
current events and the humanities.
The fund is supported by foundation grants and subscriber donations.
Town Hall appreciates donations of any amount to The Student Scholarship
Fund. Gifts of $500 or more can be designated for the donor's school
of choice.
During the 07-08 season, students from 150 high schools in seven northeastern
Ohio counties, as well as homeschooled students, were invited to the
Town Hall series, and over 5,000 students participated in the lectures
and distance learning programs. This season, five speakersWilliam
Clift, Eleanor Clift, Philippe Cousteau, "The Three Doctors" and

to present distance learning programs at the WVIZ Idea Center.
